but when i launch it (standalone or vst) it eats up 95% of my cpu constantly I cant even get to the instrument load screen without freezing upp the whole thing
I've tried reinstalling it and installing directx9 but nothing works
I have a 1,5ghz cpu, 1gb ram, a 40 gb hardrive with about 8gb free disk space

).Strange that it doesn't work. It should be ok. You can try to contact MOTU tech support.
