latency ... mac mini ?

Hello , my setup is DP4.61/mac mini intel core duo 1.66/ motu MIDI express xt / motu 828 mk2.
I open 1 MIDI trk + 1 instr track for a Alphakanal virtual instr, no fx . Drivers for both Motu are the latest version , in UB . Mac mini is brand new with just 512 mmo for the moment.
I can't play or record anything because of latency too "big" from 1024 to 64, 16 or 24bits, I'll check the cpu amount , it's about 2/10 as I play some notes.
Who's going to help me understand where did I made a mistake ..?

Dp 4.61 is not Universal!
You are using DP through Rosetta!
You need to upgrade to 5.1.
