DP Live

I have used DP to record some projects, mostly audio, but would like to use it as a live MIDI sequencer and for backing tracks. I have the demo copy of Ableton Live and was messing around with it, but I could save the money and buy a controller or maybe reason instead. So my question is, for those of you who use DP live, how do you set it up? click/rhythm track to drummer only? How is your whole project set up, and how do you trigger songs or parts of songs?

I use it mostly as a softsynth ( mostly bass lines ) and as a sampler wich are trigged by my Oxygen8 or by the drummer's Octopad.
I have a 1.5Ghz PB with 1.5Gram
Run everything through a Traveler
I run DP 5.01 with 10.4.7
I use MX4 , Minimoog, B4 , Korg Legacy collection and Mach5

I worked as a soundman on gigs using PC's ( I won't mention names ! )
The best setup I've seen was :
2 out for back vocals only.
2 out for Brass/strings/ pad backup
2 for sound FX
1 for the click track that the monitor man can feed whoever wants it except the female singer who won't groove anyways

One thing I have had a hard time grasping is the relation of songs..chunks...and sequences in DP. To date I have just done audio and MIDI recording in sequences and that is about it. How are you guys using these during a live setting in the instance where you would have multiple songs using backing tracks, click track, and even software synths played live?
