Printing effects to tracks...

Post by digsy »

Hello all,

Please help. Yes i have read both the dp manual and audiodesk manual as well and this is what i still need to know. frustrated.

I am using izotope trash on 4 tracks in dp 4.6 running on a powermac 1.25 dual processor and my computer is choking. So i want to somehow print the effects to the tracks themselves.
I dont want to bounce them alltogether, i want to preserve the multitrack element of the tracks but just print the effects to them.

in garageband, you can just print to tracks. real simple, why cant dp do this??

any help on this would basically be a huge breakthrough for me so thanks in advance.

I think what you‘re looking for is: freeze tracks.
Select the track, then audio men -> freeze tracks.
Yo‘ll get a new track automaticamente and you can disable the otherone.
Suerte.

Or just bounce each track seperately, one at a time.

You can freeze the track by selecting the entire soundbite and hitting freeze. You will get a new frozen track and your original will stay as is incase you want to tweak it later.

Or you can select the track and print the effect by selecting it under audio-plug ins and "apply."
