hi there everyone i have a question, i have a traveler and would like to use the spdif connector to connect my virus ti and fantom xr, now can i only connect one of thes at any time and do i have to use two digital cables in and out if say for example i only want to connect one sound module, what is the purpose of having an in and an out spdif. sorry if it sounds like a dumb question but i have never used spdif before . any help would be realy great. thanks
Assuming tou want to use your virus (or fantom) as a sound source, you just need one spdif cable (from the virus out to the traveler in) but make sure you set the traveler clock source to spdif (not internal)
If you want to send audio to your virus, one cable only (from traveler out to virus in) and set the traveler clock souce to internal.
In other words, you don't need a hand shake connection.
