MIDI express XT program changes

Hey I've been using a MIDI express XT USB for a while now and I love it. However, the manual that came with it and the online manual are both missing some critical information...how to send program changes! The manual says its in there, but its not.

I just need to know what information to send via program change to switch presets. I know that on the M-audio midisport 8x8 you have to be connected to a specific port and send program changes on a specific channel, so that's the kind of info I'm looking for. Thanks!

cant you just use your sequencer to change programs, this is the way i do it

Yes, but they don't seem to work. I have tried sending program changes to all the various ports and nothing happens.

i assume that your using some kind of sound module if so make sure this is set to recieve , also make sure the the channel transmiting the program change data corresponds to the same channel on your module

hahah no no it's not a problem of getting MIDI to work...it works fine.

I just need to send program changes to the MIDI express itself so it can change user presets I made in clockworks. I'm not trying to send program changes to my synths, I'm trying to send them to my interface.
