DP 4.61 Upgrade to 5.1 Problem

Post by sound7 »

I have just received the upgade software (and an additional cd from motubecause they thought that the cd was bad. About half way through the install I keep gettinf (from both CDs) a message "You do not have enough access privileges for this installation". this happens on both my G4 tower & MacBook Pro laptop. My DP 4.61 is a registered & legal copy. It was a crossgrade from Audio Desk. Any ideas or thoughts?

Contact MOTU right away and ask them for a replacement installation disc. They are very good about taking care of this for registered users.

I had already received a replacement cd, as I stated. I have solved thr issue by downloading the 5.0 update and installed the update 5.1 with the original install cd in my drive. Everything seems to operational. Still not sure what the problem was.
