I am using DP5.1 with Drumkit From Hell Superior. If you're not familar with DFHS, after you program your drums in MIDI, it renders the MIDI data offline into wav files that need to be important back into the project. Since I upgraded to DP5.1, everytime I've done this the results are always the same. After importing the files, no audio is heard on playback, so I close the session (not DP) and when I do that DP crashes.
Anyone have similar problems or any sugestions?

Is there any way to validate the wav file before you re-import it?
Not sure what the render settings are on DHFS, but I just imported several wav files into DP 5.1 with no problem. Quite honestly, I'm reluctant to reproduce the problem!!
So, given that you've looked at the wav render prefs in DHFS (if there are any), the only other thing I can think of at the moment is that your Studio Settings might need some tweaking. Make sure you have enough audio tracks (and Bundles) to add the new track.
Also, you may want to import the wav file first into the Soundbites window, then drag into a rail in the Tracks Overview (or Sequence Editor, whichever you prefer).
You may also want to test the file in iTunes just to see if it reads okay. That doesn't mean that you should use the iTunes version, but at least you will know that something's up if neither iTunes nor DP will import the file.
Oh, check your DP Prefs for Audio--- "convert on import"...?

The wav files are fine. As soon as I reopen the project everything works fine. It's just frustrating to have to quit and reload. DP takes a long time to load when a client is sitting there impatiently!
I should note that I do not drag the files into the soundbites window, I select them all from the finder and drag them into the tracks overview window, where DP creates new tracks with the same name as the wav file (a new feature to v.5 if I remember correctly). I assumed the problem I am encountering is a bug with this new feature.
