I've been a Cubase user for a while, but have recently switched to DP and I have two very simple I'm sure, frustrating question about DP.
I can load two virtual instruments just fine, if I load a third it will replace one of the others in its window, and I'll have to cycle back and forth in that menu, never seeing both at the same time. How do I open a new "blank virtual instrument" window? Or does such a thing not exist?
Also, if my virtual instrument closes how the hell do I load it again?? This answer I cannot find anywhere in the manual, and the only post I found about it here said to double click the instrument in the mixer - but doing that only brings me to the sequence window.
I really love DP a lot - its a lot nicer and more intuitive I think than Cubase but this one thing is driving me completely insane.
Thanks

Re: VI questions from a new user
Hello
Each time you open a new instrument track from the projects menu, it opens a new instance of that VI. To reopen a pre loaded VI, open up the mixer and double click on the insert that is located on the specific VI instrument track.

Re: VI questions from a new user
Yes, that worked, thank you very much. I have to say though, that I find going to the mixer to re open the instrument a bit silly. Why the mixer? Oh well, the windows don't close that often - only when I use the consolidated view presets thingy-mah-deals.
Thank you greatly!!

You can save yourself alot of time by just minimizing the VI('s) and put them in the dock. When you need it, just pop it open.
