These new drivers really suck! The worst ever firewire drivers to come out from MOTU! I am going back to the old ones tonight.
They installed OK on my G5, but I had dropouts during recording 3 simultaneous tracks using SX3 - got a "you are recording too many tracks" message. Never seen that one before... The session has frozen VSTi tracks.
On my PC (xPC) I had the hardest time installing them. Crash, after crash. I cleaned up the registry and after that the install was success. I havent' done any recording/mixing on the PC yet, so I don't know for sure! My MOTU 828mkII works fine with iTunes. But they are gonner on my Mac.
Do they have the old 3.5.2 drivers fr MAC anywhere on the site to download? I know I have the 3.5.2 for PC.
3.6.7.0 drivers any better?
