Open Mixer window

There is an icon in the upper left side of the Mixer window frame itself, among other icons. This particular icon looks like a page with a strip down the left side. Click that to open the track list.

Select the track or tracks your want-- by single clicking on single tracks or by click-dragging to select multiple adjacent tracks. Selected tracks will appear in the mixer.

In the upper left corner, there is a mini menu with some Show/Hide stuff (along with Save/Load Board layout, etc). Choose Inserts to show inserts on the mixer.

On the track you want the comp to appear, click-hold the insert pulldown. Plugins are listed alphabetically. Choose your plugin in and your're off.

The plugin also has a mini menu with some default presents, or you may program the comp from scratch.

Frodo - that seems to work for just about every plugin except for the MB Comp. :(. When I double click other inserts, it brings up the plugins editing window. When I double click the MWorks MB Comp, I see this:

I just recently had a plugin do the same thing. I just closed that small window and double clicked the insert again and the plugin UI came up.

First thing to check: Take a look at the entry in the Output column for that track. If it is italicized like the examples in your screen shot, then you don't have the output enabled, so your plugins won't appear when you launch them.

about the only things i miss from steiny are toolbar on right click, the ability to mix in the arrangment (sequence editor) via the inspector, and the options for "stop". i.e. hitting stop once returns you to the position from where playback was started. hitting stop twice returns to zero.
the memory play features are very nice, but it's not the same.
i'll have to look into keyboard commands for this...i just rarely use the keyboard. :)
