Serial Number for 4.5

Post by brasspig »

Was there an updated Serial Number to DP 4.5? I'm thinking there was.

I just received my new PowerBook and have looked for my manuals like crazy.

If I can't find the manuals, can I get my SN from MOTU?

Thanks!

Hello

Are you looking for the SN or the key code to authorize DP ?? If you are registered, you can call tech support and they will be able to pull up your info. If it is a key code you are looking for, and you are registered, they will be able to assist you with your options.

Thanks for the help. But the help doesn't come as fast as I would like it. I guess I should be more careful where I place my stuff.

MOTU is sending me another CD and Key Code because each CD has it's own Key Code. I guess they didn't have record of what my Key Code was. Oh well. It is awfully nice of them to send me another CD and new Key Code though.

I guess I'll just wait it out. . . . . .

Yes, and I cannot believe I have misplaced that monster of a book. Not too many places you can hide that sucker! :)

Call or write MOTU. They will help you. If you registered they have it on file.

I got the comp upgrade of DP5 and they give you the key on the back page of the manual. The sucky thing about the comp upgrade is that MOTU makes you tear out the first page of the competing software's manual and mail it in with the registration card! I closed my eyes and "RIP," yes RIP indeed... poor Cubase VST5 manual. I suppose other manufacturers do this to though. Still a shame to tear up a good manual. Even so, it's still better than having to use a dongle! Sorry, didn't mean to hijack.
