Hey, this is great! Great sounds, excellent vocals. Has a definite Stevie feel. What was the vocal chain?

I agree. Great voice! Well recorded and a very nice mix as well.

DP 5.13, Reason 5, Logic 9, Melodyne 3, Live 7, Cubase 4.5, OS 10.5.8 on main desktop, 10.6.3 on laptop. Old analog gear, synths and guitars and heat-belching transformers and tubes.

Nice work all around: Good production and post. Excellent vocal and musical performances. Very professional.

Can you give us some background? Live performance or solo multi-tracking? Recorded in your bedroom or a pro studio?

It was recorded at my studio. It's an 800 sq ft room with 8 foot ceilings. Carpeted, draped, drop in ceiling.

Mics:

Kick: EV ND868 - Symetrix SX202
Snare: Beyer M201 miced on the side - SX202
Toms: Oktava MK012's - Mackie VLZ Pro
Overheads: Rode Classics (in "usual" LR position)- SX202's - RNC
Room: Neumann TLM103's (In X-Y) - Peavey VMP-1 - Distressors (Set on NUKE)

Bass: Countryman DI - Meek VC6Q

Guitars: Royer 121 (a foot off the grill), Meek VC6Q "Direct"

All basic tracks were tracked together.

OD's - Keys , Vocals, Fix-em's, solos...

Anything else?
