Locking Sample Rate on MOTU 828 MKii

Post by dopepoo »

Hi All,

Is there any way to lock the sample rate on the MOTU 828 MKii?
On the hardware settings of my EMU 0404 there is a tick box with lock sample rate, this forces apps to use a certain rate. Does such a feature exist on the MOTU?

Thanks

I don't think so. All I have is the MOTU Firewire Console which lets you set the sample rate but there isn't a check box to lock it. In Audio MIDI Setup the output has a sample rate drop down menu, but I think it is controlled by the Firewire Console app while my 828MKll is turned on and attached to my computer.
