Using a MIDI foot controller to control DP

Post by frontierfran »

hi there,

I did a search for this, but couldnt quite find anything...

has anyone used a MIDI foot controller to control the transport in DP? I have an older Yamaha MIDI controller, 5 button pedal, and I would love to use it to send transport , or any other commands to the DAW.

any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I use the Behringer FBC1010, for MIDI modulation mostly...
It is a very programmable unit, but kinda a pain to learn how to use it, Unisyn now has a profile for it which is pretty handy.

no, I currently use my O1V for transport control.
Just map your MIDI messages in the commands window.
