DP instead of Peak/DSP Quattro

OK not in the Track window, but in the dedicated audio editor, you get no choice of the fade, what kind of curve it has etc... I would love an audio editor that let you draw your own fades, and from what I can tell DSP Quattro doesn't either.
You could bounce the audio file with automation in the track window, but that's really no better than Logic. The major thing DP's audio editor has is that you can print FX to audio.

Anyway I admit I'm a bit of a whiner about this, just wish for a solution that fit my needs....

Peak is a great program with great editing and looping etc - for completed audio tracks or for samples or for individual instrument/vocal tracks. You can do all sorts of DSP stuff with the audio and can savet /convert to or open virtually any format. I use it in conjunction with DP - for example if I am cutting and pasting bits of audio takes in the Sequence window and various takes seem to be at different levels, once I know what goes where I can open up the audio files in Peak, choose the region (which has helpfully been converted from the soundbite in DP to show as separate regions in the audio file), normalise it (or do whatever other DSP it requires), save it back as a SD format file, and presto, in DP there it shows up at the new level. Perhaps the Waveform editor in DP can do all this - I don't know as I've never tried because Peak works beautifully and it is so easy doing things this way. So Peak is a great program and has great uses.

Any Quattro user who thinks there's a
difference in audio quality when burning directly
from the app rather than using Jam/Toast/iTunes?
