I hoped that by DP 5 (or even 5.01) there would be a real fix for the "fill gaps" issue. After editing drums with the beat detection features... cutting them etc...i want to quickly fill in the gaps created after quantizing the soundbites. In ProTools it will take the soundbites edges and drag it backwards to the edge of the previous soundbite to close in the gap. I have had no success with any of the Fill Gaps methods in DP. Has anyone found a way to do this quickly in DP? Doing it by hand is such a long process... Also, the last time I did this...I had to go back to 4.61 to keep from crashing everytime I wanted to edge edit mutiple tracks...to fill in the gaps.
Thanks.

Just expect this to be ignored man.
I have found out that nobody cares, this has been causing me big problems at work.
I think it seems inevitable that I will have to switch to pro tools some time.
Motu read this forum and so know all about the problem but still refused to fix it.
They can't even manage to make an arpegiator that plays the first note.
I have to stick with DP now because I have no choice(money left)
