How do i join two projects into one?

Post by toopik »

For some reason i did this piece in two sessions -- which DP calls projects. Now i need to join them. I've read the manual about moving a MIDI file into the chunk window ....... So i get the tracks there, then they will not move into either a mono or a stereo slot....... What do i do now?

Are the tracks laid out the same in both projects?? If so you are in luck. Just copy all the tracks you need from the one project and paste or splice them into the other project.

You could try using the clipping window. Drag the chunks from one project into a new clipping window, open the other project and drag the clippings to the chunks window.

I would only try to load a project into the other from the file menu. Then you can select what you want to import from the dialog window.

"load" is the way to go. then make sure your tracks are aligned the same and cut and paste into one chunk
