How install M5 in an other hard disc than my Cubase ?

Post by goodall »

Hi everybody, don't be afraid by spelling mistakes, I'm French and still not very relax with English language. Anyway, I would like to install M5 in a different Hard disc than my Cubase SX3 because everybody recommanded me that but I don't know how to do. I tried to understand and install by myself but Cubase didn't find it so, I uninstall M5 and ....... I need a help !
Thanks to guide me.

What you really want is to move the MachFive samples off of your main drive to a second drive. Try a search on this forum. It's relatively easy to do:

1. Install MachFive and your samples
2. Move samples from Library to a second hard drive
3. Open MachFive and it will ask you to locate the folder for the samples. Once you tell it the new location, you don't have to worry about doing so again (unless you move the samples somewhere else)
