Hello,
I'm trying to install my MOTU 828 MkII again, but the firmware in the website doesn't work for me: when I run it I get an error message saying that the file motubus.inf is missing. I had never had any trouble installing the previous drivers. But unfortunatelly I'm not at home so I don't have the original CD to install the drivers it came with. Is there any website where I can get old drivers and try to install them? It should work. The drivers should be for XP.
Thanks,
Roger

You are mixing terms. Firmware is different than a device driver.
Which is it you are trying to update?
I just installed the new drivers last night and they seem to perform better than the previous ones.
You should be able to install the downloaded drivers on a machine that has never had the CD based drivers on it. That's what I do.
Did you go to Control Panel/Add Remove programs and remove the MOTU stuff first?
Once you have done that and rebooted, you should be able to install the new drivers (have the converters disconnected when you do this) with the EXE downloaded from the MOTU site.
If you really are interested in the previous ones, I have them.
