I am working in 5.1 and 7.1 and would like to get rid of my mixer. I need, however, to control the individual output levels of my Analog out 1-8 out of my 828mkII (they are connected directly to power monitors). I've looked at the manual and at cuemix but haven't seen what I need. I could well be being obtuse and the answer is staring me right in the face but I'd be grateful for any help.
As a bonus, it would be nice to be able to control those output levels with a MIDI fader box - for use in emergencies.
thanks
828mkII control of individual analog out levels

You cannot control individual outputs with QueMix (you can't do this with an M-Audio delta 1010's control panel, either).
I have my surround's connected directly as well, but they have to be controlled by my playback system (SONAR, Vegas, etc).
Further, MOTU drivers do not support surround control via Windows (with your DVD player, for example).
