hello everybody,
first of all, i think that MX4 is an AMAZING synth!! now my problem:
i've installed the mx4 2.0 demo on my desktop g5, and i was so pleased with it, that i also installed it onto my laptop. so far so good...but then i decided to reformat my laptop, and re-installed the system from scratch, not using the migration assistant, but re-install everything again by hand...
so after installing and updating the system up to the most recent tiger version 10.4.6, i installed logic pro 7.2, and first thing i reinstalled MX4, but now i'm getting this error message in the AUvalidation in logic:
the pop-up message says:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Required software extension are missing.
The shared library named "<ILUIEngineLib
Carbon><ILUIEngineLib Carbon><URLAccessLib><" could not be found. Please install this library or contact customer support for this product.

and the auval log says:

hello hugy,hugy wrote:Hi,
You can try to validate the plugin manually. (click the check box)
With some luck, it will open in logic as it do in DSP-Quattro.
Good Luck
Regards,
yes, obviously that's a workaround (which works fine) but it's very annoying, since you get a pop-up message warning you each time you start up logic... also looks quite ugly if a client sees that, no?
