But oddly not a mention of this anywhere on MOTU web site,

Makes me wonder?

No, it's not a Universal Binary. The UB version is coming later this spring!
I think so... :D

MachFive 3, MSi, Ethno 1, Omnisphere 2, Sampletank 4, Forest Kingdom II, Desert Winds, EWQLSO-Silver, Real Guitar 2, VLP120, PLP120, VCP120, Liquid Saxophones, Elastic, The Resource, Wave Arts PowerSuite 4+5 and Master Restoration, Kontaktplayer, Absynth 5, Ni Action Strings etc.

Yeah, I just realized that in another thread, Quarter 2 some time.

I thought the MOTU guy at NAMM said it would be a UB from the start.

Anyway, any good reasons to got to 5 from 4.6? stability, speed, sound, of course the Software Inst. look cool

The big 64K $ question:

Will we see Mach 5 version 2 before the next Ice Age (not the movie)?

MOTU also confirmed for Macworld that it would be making Intel versions of its applications available for customers. The company said that Intel versions of its instrument products would be available in the first quarter of 2006. An Intel version of Digital Performer 5 will be available in the second quarter of 2006.
