MOTU has gone with a universal installer set-up. There is a PCI 1.09 update for the 424 PCI-X card. I suggest uninstalling your 1.08 drivers first (run the 1.08 installer package and select "Uninstall").
The new installer added a CueMix, SMPTE and PCI Hardware Setup App. So those were there plus the 3 from the 1.08 set-up. Nothing worked at first. Uninstalled the 1.08 set plus the newly installed set. Rebooted with 2408mk3 turned off and reinstalled the drivers. Rebooted and turned on the 2408mk3. All was good again.
Had I uninstalled the 1.08 set first it would have saved alot of time...
