If you find that the 896 is not for you, I would like one, I have a perfect Firepod to trade. I need the ADAT I/Os, dont have them in the Firepod.

I have "brand new" 896 (non HD) which I just purchased just out of the packaging. I'd be interested in the Firepod. How old is it and what is its condition?
