Control Attack and Release with Hardware MIDI interface?

Is there a way to control the A and R of the current sample with an external MIDI input control? using a hardware fader sure beats hunting and pecking on that window. I see that some parameters are mapped out to my MIDI keyboard..but not those. Is this asking too much?
