Copying Mixes (from Mix Mode) Between Sequences

Post by misentropic »

I would bet that this has been covered before but - I use sequences as a way of creating versions of my songs as I write them in MIDI- however, once I record individual tracks and start using mix mode to monkey with the mix I can no longer do this because DP does not duplicate the mix information in mix mode over to the new sequence - i.e., you start a sequence with no mixes and mix mode turned off.

Does anyone know of a way to copy a mix created in one sequence within mix mode between sequences? I know you can sort of do this with snapshot but I would ideally like to copy a mix from mix mode info to mix in mix mode.

i think you have to name the original mix, then when you create a new mix, i think it'll make a copy by default...i can't seem to get it to NOT copy...lol
