DP remapping MIDI drum sounds

Post by MIK »

I am having a problem properly loading standard MIDI drum files in DP 4.12. I can play and monitor them in Quicktime, but when I import them into DP, DP totally remaps the order of instruments in the drum kit. I am using the Apple OS softsynth (bank 10) for playback. Any advice on what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance. MIK

I'm a primitive MIDI user, but one thing I've figured out is that there are two types of MIDI: One in which everything starts from 0, and one in which everything starts from 1. In the former, your Acoustic Grand Piano will be O, in the latter it will be 1.
Could this have something to do with your problem?
