changing tempos in a session

how do you change tempo in a session? My session starts off at 97 Bpm at Bar 1 and I want to change it to 105 Bpm at bar 65

Come on ... how do I change tempo? Are you kidding me. Take a look in the manual.

Sometimes it's easier to ask someone else about something. I don't see any problem in that.

Figuring out how to look things up in a manual is something every needs to learn. I don't think it's reasonable to expect that others will look things up for you.

I'd say that *after* taking a crack at the manual and still being confused is when this board really shines. Over-all, I think that the manual does a good job (though some tutorials would be nice, especially on the newer things like BDE).

I want to thank all who have answered my obviously easy questions. My reasons for this is that I have recently taken a job as an assistant to a composer who uses Digital Performer. He is currently out of town for two weeks so I have been spending the time getting up to speed with DP. Unfortunately, all I have access to is the getting started guide, the main manual is at his home so I don't have access to it. I did purchase the DP DVD tutorials which have been great and unicornation.com has been invaluable. So I am sorry if I have annoyed anyone out there with my silly questions.

No, My background is in Pro Tools. I'm assisting with a composer who uses DP for his main writing.

Now that sounds like a reasonable story. I should have followed my first instinct and kept quiet, but I felt like telling everyone else to shut up, so I kind of split the difference.

This is why I don't like the idea of "precertifying" new forum users before responding to their posts. While the question was indeed a lame one, it makes more sense considering that you don't have access to a manual, but are working for someone who does. Still, he should put his copy of the manual out for you to use if he's going to have you working in DP. It's not a piece of cake. With 1000 pages in the manual, there's a lot to this app.

Chrispick answered the question. The rest of us really should have just kept quiet.
