Know of any CD burning apps that encode ISRC Numbers?

Post by paradeatw »

I finally got my ISRC number assignment a few weeks ago and now i must start burning my songs with this number encoded. Besides Bias Peak and such audio editors, is there something a bit simpler such as a CD burning app that will allow me to type in the ISRC and burn away?

i appologize if this sounds stupid. So far, I have found Jam and Peak only. Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced :)

Roxio Jam will encode ISRC just fine. Give it a try. It's one of the easiest application to prepare a replication ready master.

ISRC Codes

Post by hellcat »

Hi, I had the same problem -- I had to find a software that would allow me to master properly, with codes and PQ and more....and Bias Peak is the only thing I could find that does it professionally... I'd recommend it. I use it after I mix down in DP4.61, then master in Bias Peak.

Yeah, if your needs exceed CD-burning (e.g., you also want a mastering app or dedicated audio editor/conversion app), then you might want to pick up something like Peak or DSP Quattro.

I use Peak Pro to do that stuff for me, FWIW.

Anyway, Toast and Jam are both Roxio products, so they won't seem too alien to someone coming from the Windows-PC world.
