jbl lsr4328p pak monitors

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has experienced the new jbl monitors with automatic room compensation. It is to my understanding that these units will send an audio signal out into the room - analyze it and adjust itself to the rooms acoustics. Sounds like a great idea, especially for project studios or rooms with less than perfect acoustics! All comments and comparisons (other monitors valued around $1400) welcomed.
