Frankly, I'm not understanding this. Everything listed in Audio Interfaces (Legacy) is still found under Audio Interfaces. Why not move everything that is no longer supported to ...(Legacy)?
It would be nice if they included the drivers that we know still work over Sequoia and Windows 11. Ok, that would cut down the number of new people complaining/asking us how to make their old units function
Perhaps this is a work in progress.

The mk2 is roughly 23 or so?? I still have my registration card when I bought it (on the literal first day of arrival at Sam Ash) around here somewhere, think it was April 2002. That thing is "legacy" and unsupported, the mk3 and 828x are all part of the same old driver family, so you would think they would all be 'legacy' at this point too. Guess that's good news for the holdouts with the older FW interfaces, as long as the drivers still work, those will too.
Edit: The 828mk3 was introduced Winter NAMM 2008. I bought my 828mkII at a Guitar Center close out sale after coming home from the show and seeing no compelling reason for me to pay more for the mk3 that hadn’t made it to the stores yet.

Really? I bought mine at a local music store. It was in a bargain bin of “discontinued” items. I don’t know exactly when, but I know for sure it was before the end of 2010.

Yep. The non-Hybrid version wasn't out very long.
My memory was off a year. A little back story...
The 828mkII USB (2001) had many problems and was pulled from the market after only a couple years while the FW version wasn't discontinued till sometime in 2007.
