Unable to get audio from Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 into DP11

All connected correctly: hardware driver to 6i6 in DP, USB connection OK, cables OK. (Online help videos show the obvious which I've done.)...

Trying to record analogue audio into DP11 via Focusrite Scarlett 6i6.

All 6i6 level meters bouncing nicely to show sound is getting into the 6i6, but when I set the input of a DP audio track to '6i6 USB 1&2', all I get is silence. DP will not receive the digital audio from the 6i6's USB out. Have also tried with 6i6 USB 3&4.

I've checked the Focusrite Control driver settings. They show the 6i6 accepting audio fine. Can anyone tell me how to latch DP's input to the 6i6's USB out?

It's probably something really simple that a seasoned user would know about. :(

Any advice gratefully welcomed.

Is the DP track in either record or input monitor mode?

Is Preferences>Privacy and Security>Microphone>Allow Access below for Digital Performer enabled? -Ugly orange microphone in menu bar appears :vomit:

I'll play... Are your outputs set to the 6i6? Does DP have access to the Microphone?

Below is a setup for my AIR 192|14. There are a number of ways to configure a track's output including Monitor, Aux etc. but at some point the signal has to be heard.

+1, Cut beat me to it.
DP11, 2019 16-Core Mac Pro, OS 14 Sonoma , 64GB RAM. RME HDSPe MADI FX to SSL Alphalink to SSL Matrix console, and multiple digital sub consoles. UAD Quad PCIe. Outboard stuff.

No kidding... it is UGLY!!! Wish Apple would give us the option to hide it. Or have it use the same color as the Accent color we choose in the Appearance settings.

Oh my, you guys are clever. THANK YOU! :D

Once I allowed DP access to Mac microphone, all connected a treat.

Seems odd, as Mac's USB-in is not the same as the Mac's mic-in, but anyway, it worked and I am extremely grateful to you all. :headbang:
