Omisphere Crashing When Assigning CCs
Assigning CCs to anything in Omnisphere's Effects Rack is crashing DP. Even on a fresh new projects. Assigning CCs to any other parameter is fine. It's only crashing when assigning to effect's parameters. Omnisphere in standalone doesn't crash when I do this operation. Just in DP. It only recently started happening, so I tried the last few versions of DP, but they all crash when I try it. Omnisphere is fully up to date. ....my next move is to see if it works via VEP as a workaround, but I'd really like to keep it in DP if I can,
Any ideas? Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks!

Haven't seen tis, but I've never tried to automate FX within Omnisphere.
Half-Baked Workaround #2: Use Audio Plugins on Omnisphere VI Track in DP.

Thanks, but I typically use Omnisphere with multi instruments. Plus the effects in Omnisphere are often unique to that instrument.
It's got to be something on my end, but I'd be curious if others with Omnisphere can assign CCs to the effects. ...after selecting the target parameter in Omnisphere, as soon as you wiggle the desired controller DP crashes instantly.

Me, too, but I figure if you only need to automate a certain effect, it could be easier to dedicate an instance of Omni to that sound, then do the effect in an audio plugin. I'm not in studio today, prepping for a live TV show performance tomorrow backing up a guy who sings Luther Vandross songs. Wish me luck!
EDIT: "A guy" turned out to be Terry Steele, lead writer of Luther's hit All I Need, one of the tunes we performed. An honor!

I think it is on your end. I had to boot my studio, so ran a quick test. Enabled Omni, went to FX page, Selected an FX parameter, MIDI Learn, send CC from Arturia, worked fine.

Okay. That tells me something I guess. Thanks for checking!
