Capacitors part lists for recapping 828 mk II and 828 mk III?

Does anyone have a parts list for recapping an 828 mk II and 828 mk III? I picked up some of these recently that turn on but have various issues and looking inside, they definitely need recapping. I've recapped some other gear in the past, and these look straightforward, but I'd want to make sure I ordered the right kinds of capacitors from Mouser. Could anyone make any suggestions? Or is it better to just send them to MOTU?

MOTU no longer accepts returns for repair of units not under warranty. Likewise, MOTU has never made a parts list available.

There have been many threads here and on Gearspace discussing these over the years. Google is your friend. Do not limit your search to those specific units, however. It's likely that all of the 828 variants use the same caps — or, perhaps, the ones that predate the current 828es and 828.

I recently had a number of issues with my 896MK3 Hybrid. It's 13 years old. Obviously out of warranty.

I created a number of support tickets in the attempt to keep the unit alive. Ultimately, the unit failed to boot. MOTU issued me an RA number to send the unit to their repair facility. They're currently working on it and I should get it back in a week or so.

I've seen a number of posts similar to your experience. I just wanted to let you know that MOTU will now repair out of warranty units. You are responsible for getting the unit shipped to MOTU and the repair costs.

I've received excellent customer support from their team. I hope you have a similar experience.

That's cool! I didn't know MOTU *had* a repair facility. I thought they just swapped them out for refurbished units, but that's great if they are fixing them now.

Yeah... I'm not certain that's the case, but I guess if someone at MOTU told the OP to send in and they would repair it, that might be all the evidence that's needed.

Do they look physically damaged (i.e., bulging) or are they leaking fluid? Today's electrolytics last many years. It would be unusual for them to fail due to age. A circuit failure causing over voltage, voltage reversal or something similar would be a more probable culprit and simply replacing the cap would likely not fix the problem and the new cap could blow as well.
