Commands: how do you empty a key sequence?
In Setup | Commands I have a command with an assigned key sequence that I'd like to revert to empty. I want to remove that key sequence entirely (and not assign it to anything else). How do I do that? If I select the key sequence and then press 'Delete' or 'cmd-X', DP wants to make THAT the new key sequence. Right-clicking doesn't reveal any helpful options either.

Hmm... you're on Windows and I'm on Mac, so it's probably different as Macs have a backspace delete key and that deletes the hotkey assignment for me.
Just a guess, but I suspect as a workaround, until someone chimes in with a better idea... it might be to select the hotkey assignment text first... delete it... and then click somewhere else in the window?

From page 108 of the User manual:
"ASSIGNMENTS
To assign a key binding to a given Command,
simply click in the ‘Key’ column of a command
and a field will appear indicating it is ready to
receive a key stroke from the keyboard. The key or
combination of key and modifiers you press at this
time will be entered into the field.
There are two key bindings available for any given
command. For example, the Slave to External Sync
command could be mapped to both Command/
Ctrl-7 and Option/Alt-s.
You can use any key you want, except for the delete
key, which removes the current key binding, if any."
I tried this and got the same results you did... DP wants to assign Delete key to the action. I'm brand new to DP but would have expected its behavior to match what the manual describes, unless I am misinterpreting.

Works as expected here. There have been instances where a OS level keyboard preference interferes with what gets passed to an application when a particular key is pressed.
