Stereo Audio Files won't play - "MVE" x'd out in Soundbites window - RESOLVED

I have a project that includes three stereo audio tracks. None will play. In the tracks window, they look dimmed out, though they are set to play.

In the Soundbites window, there is a "MVE" Column, and all three tracks show a red "X" over the stereo icon in the window.

How can I fix this?

SOLVED: I had to convert the non-playing soundbites from 48k to 41k and then they worked. Thank you!
