Why am I seeing two grids?
Only in MIDI view, not Track or Sequence. Dark heavier lines are the beats. But what about the other thinner purple-ish(?) ones?

I'm curious what note value you have the grid snap set to. Also what is your time signature?
M1 MBP; OS 15.3, FF800, DP 11.33, PC3K7, K2661, iPad6, Godin XTSA (w/ SY-1000), 2 Ibanez 5-string basses (1 fretted, 1 fretless), FX galore

quarter note, 4/4
Re: Why am I seeing two grids?
It sure looks like your grid is set to dotted 32nd notes. I can get that exact same grid by doing so.

Re: Why am I seeing two grids?
Once in a while I will get this and it always that the tick is set to something weird like dotted 8th when I’m in 1/4 note based meters. I also audibly notice it by the MIDI click. The weird thing? I never set it that way. I’m not sure how or why it happened. It’s random. I assume it’s me, pilot error, but it’s awfully specific to somehow “accidentally” set the grid or clock to an odd subdivision like this. Doesn’t happen consistently enough to make it worth tracking down. Oh well.

Thanks, all! I'll watch out for this on my new project.
