Using it just tonight with DP11.33 and Sonoma, there were no issue.
Yeah... I think it's behaving now in DP 11.33. It's just having issues in PT 2024.10.

Audio Modeling solo strings now Sequoia compatible. I'm interested in input about Native Instruments stuff.

I've opened projects with both Kontat 7 and 8 in them and seems to be working okay. Have not stress tested it, but nothing has leapt out at me!

Got a notification that Sequoia 15.1.1 is released. Might as well do it since I'm on 15.1 already.

I just updated to the most recent OS, which was kind of a leap. Haven't done any heavy DP work yet.

The first thing that has become clear is that Finder's Search function has officially become USELESS. What the heck?

I searched "corridor", and selected Name Contains "corridor" and got no results. I confirmed that it was searching "This Mac"

I opened Find Any File and it found 47 results. And most of the results were in locations that shouldn't have any kind of "protected" status.

This has happened a few times.
M1 MBP; OS 15.3, FF800, DP 11.33, PC3K7, K2661, iPad6, Godin XTSA (w/ SY-1000), 2 Ibanez 5-string basses (1 fretted, 1 fretless), FX galore

I’m still in 14.7.1 and I’ve been having this problem and files not showing up in the Finder window for weeks! Same thing using FindAnyFile - that works. I thought it was just me. Freaky that I will save a file, go to send it to someone and it’s not there in the window. I can’t access it, but it’s there. I can find it using FAF but not Finder or see it in the window. I’m gonna have to call Apple.

Maybe it’s still indexing. Tho the finder search has been useless for a long time.

I hadn't thought of that. I ran the OS update overnight, and might have assumed it could have taken those 8 hours or so to take care of that.

I'll test that same search in a few days and see if it does anything different.

Like you say though, seems like Search has been a useless feature for a long time-- which for a modern computer should be unforgivable. I did just submit some feedback to Apple about it, but I won't hold my breath. I'm SO thankful for Find Any File.

I’ve seen instances where, after indexing is over, a file that is showing in the Finder, and is being previewed, cannot be found by the Finder search. I’ve long given up on Apple fixing this, and have used EasyFind for years.

I'd be satisfied if Apple finally fixed spontaneous disk ejects or Disk Utility First Aid on APFS volumes. And here on 14.7.1, Finder has been the flakiest it has ever been in my recent recollection.

I experienced this for a while. Reading up on it there were claims of conflicts between USB 3, fast wifi, and the current versions of Bluetooth. It made no sense to me, but I isolated the external drives, moving them as far as I could from the Mac, and stopped using Bluetooth, and the problem stopped immediately.

Just a heads up I learned from S-Gear (Mike knows his stuff!)...Sequoia adds a new sort of unexpected feature if you are like me and never read the EULA...its a new "private wifi address" feature that I think is enabled by default...certain plugins that do not use iLok and have some kind of "call home" authentication system will stop working because the new Apple private wifi address acts like a firewall wannabe and is activated whether you choose it or not...

S-gear provided an update, but there may be other plugin victims to the machine known as Apple rollout and roll-over vendors progress.

But the latest version is working fine for me on a MBP M2/DP11/UAD ApolloTwin/Apogee Symphony MKII/Antelope Audio D8/...

I haven't had any real plugin issues other than S-gear...all of my NI stuff works fine...and the bazillion plugins seem to mock me by still being avialbale.

I just upgraded to Sequoia, and it seems okay so far. BUT, the top menu items now have to be double-clicked to open! What the heck? Has anyone else encountered this?

Is DP 10.1 the current version you are using? I seem to recall this being a problem with early releases of DP 11 that was fixed in later versions.
