VoxDucker $6

VoxDucker $6

Currently you'll also get IK Multimedia T-RackS Tape Machine 440 and GForce AXXESS as free gifts with purchase.

If you are a video-maker, podcaster, or broadcaster or create audiobooks, you simply need to mix human voice with background music. That can be a time-consuming pain. Unless you use VoxDucker, which can automatically suppress the backing track in three different ways to get the most natural feeling in a blink of an eye. And it's not just voice-overs you may need a mighty ducker for. Think about drums and bass. And more. Just value your time and mix with VoxDucker.

HoRNet MixComp - FREE

Note (Updated)... the developer has an installer app, but last time I used it I had some issues, so instead I download the plugs individually in user area. When you do that you need to move the plugins to the folders where they go and then remove from quarantine use the instructions in this thread:

Text Sniper: $2.99

Post by Rick Cornish »

OK—so it’s not a plugin, but it’s a super useful app I use almost every day (my daughter uses it every day for her schoolwork). $2.99 to use it on every Mac you own. Get it at the App Store.

Interesting but I can't get it to do anything. it complained on first opening that a setting needs to be changed. That done, the app menu appeared only in the small black part of the top centre of the screen if I clicked randomly. After that it didn't even appear there. It is running according to Activity monitor, but does not appear as an app, or a process otherwise.

You use it to copy text from anywhere and paste it into an app like Word or TextEdit or any other app that accepts text entry. My daughter uses it to copy text from her online books and paste into her notes.

After I gave it security access to the screen, it works well.

On my system, I have to press SHIFT-COMMAND-2 and then it becomes crosshairs-- that I can drag over anything.

I dragged it over part of cuttime's avatar and it put "Desk File" into the clipboard. That's a nice little first demo.

FYI: you can assign any hot key you like in the app,

OK so I'm guessing it works better than the built in Mac OS text extractor? with the Mac OS one you snapshot an application etc. then extract from Preview etc.
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

I’ll try that. According to the images in the App Store, there should be a crosshairs image in the menu bar but it’s not there on my laptop. I know it’s running, but there doesn’t seem to be a visible way to activate it.
