I may be missing something very basic.
I'm working with a guy who uses Logic and I export AAF from DP (which I test locally using Logic), ship it to him, he adds tracks and ships back. I then export AAF from Logic and import into DP.
It's all worked remarkably well.
...except...
When I import the AAF project into DP, DP still references the audio files in the AAF export folder and does not import the audio into the "Audio Files" folder of the project.
Using option-R in the Soundbites window shows that DP is referencing the audio in the AAF export folder.
According the manual (pp. 61-62), at least to my reading, DP should import/copy the audio to the Audio Files folder.
Am I missing something completely obvious? There's an "OMF/AAF Export Options" menu but nothing corresponding to import.
Driving me nuts...what would appear to be the simplest part is mystifying!
Many thanks in advance for your help + insights.
