Re: Rigid Audio Everything Bundle $25!!!

Post by Rick Cornish »

The Rigid Audio bundle is the best deal ever. I actually felt a bit guilty downloading so much good content for just $25,

ONE QUESTION, THOUGH: I own the full version of Kontakt 7, but the RA instruments only open in Demo mode, which shuts down after 15 min and tells me I need the full version of Kontakt (which I definitely own).

I got a serial number from Rigid when I bought the bundle, but can't find any authorization routine for these VIs. Has anyone else had this problem?

I assume you would register the SN with NI through the Native Access app.

The serials from Rigid are 4X4 characters, and I think Native Access expects 5X5 characters

FWIW, I've opened a few of the libraries and wasn't asked to authorize.

Ahhhh...... figured it out. Rigid Audio VIs require Kontakt 6.4.2 or higher. My old version of Komplete only has Kontakt 7 **Player**. The latest version of FULL Kontakt I have is v5. Guess it's time to upgrade. Oh well....

(And if anyone knows of any discounts or deals for Komplete upgrades, please let me know!)

For some period of time, NI would do 50% off deals during that November/Thanksgiving software sales season. Seemed like Kontakt got passed over a couple years in a row. But still, keep an eye out.

Going on through November 11th. Lots of stuff on sale for $31. Yikes... must... resist... Tempted to grab another Falcon library.

https://www.uvi.net/halloween-sale
Good through 11/11

Yeah... I have most of the libraries on the list already but I sprung for Jazzistic.

Unless specifically listed as a Falcon expansion, all will work in the free UVI Player. Just sayin...

I use Gypsy Jazzy now and then. Nice to see Austrian Grand separate from the Key Suite Acoustic bundle (not part of this sale). If one wants a good Bösenderfor Imperial Grand VI and doesn't have one already, hard to beat this one at $31.

For those of you who might have iZotope Post Production Suite 7.5... the upgrade via iZotope is $139, but if you go here...

https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-rx-post ... test-33240

... and use the coupon code "GROUP" at checkout it will drop the price down to $117.31. And if you want it to hurt even less, you can do PayPal "Pay in 4" at JRR, and do four interest free payments.

The upgrade to PPS 8.5 was announced a few days later — only addition was Neutron 5. If anyone took advantage of this sale, I would rattle iZotope's cage about 8.5.

Otherwise, here is the upgrade page. Neutron 5 upgrade only or PPS 8.5 from 8.0 is $99.50.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Arturia's 50% off sale? includes upgrades.
https://www.arturia.com

Finally, I have FX collection 2 and the upgrades have been tempting but not $49 tempting!
I'll probably upgrade V-Collection as well, although I'm at the point to where I want to concentrate on a few synths and samplers instead of dozens.

Red Rock Sound Sale

Post by James Steele »

Red Rock Sound Sale

https://redrocksound.pro/en/macwin/

The only plugin I have of theirs is FUSE Stereo Image which is on sale right now for $15.

https://redrocksound.pro/en/stim-pc/

I had some issues with the earlier version of FUSE, but those seem to be resolved with 1.0.6. The reason I'm sharing this is I think if you can demo FUSE you should. For $15 it holds its own against other good stereo image expanders like Softube Widener which has been my favorite. I think this one is great and the price is hard to beat. Demo it. See what you think.

As for the other plugs... haven't tried them.

Best NI Komplete Upgrade Price???

Post by Rick Cornish »

Hey gang........
It's time for me to upgrade Komplete (I'm running v13 and v15 is now out). NI announced their November sale, but my upgrade price on their site is still at $199. Does anyone know where I might be able to get it for less?

Thanks.
