MIDI Region Commands not working properly

Post by stubbsonic »

I just opened a new project and selected some MIDI notes, and tried to do a Time Scale command, and it did something, but not what I asked. I wanted to scale something to 20% and it made the time-scale bigger/longer.

Then I tried to quantize selected MIDI to a tuplet value (5 in the space of 4), and it ignored the checked tuplet option, and just quantized to the selected note value.

Anyone seeing issues like this?

Suggestions for what else to check?
M1 MBP; OS 15.3, FF800, DP 11.33, PC3K7, K2661, iPad6, Godin XTSA (w/ SY-1000), 2 Ibanez 5-string basses (1 fretted, 1 fretless), FX galore

Tried both with a few bars of notes at random, out and both edits worked as expected. I have no suggestions. Tried changing a few other options in the dialog and it worked OK. Maybe post the a bit of the Sequence here with just the one MIDI track and others could try it with your specific notes.

Just spitballing, but would “Smart Selections” affect Region commands?
