The audio of a rather large DP project started having constant dropouts when I opened it this morning. When the project is open all the audio in my system also experience this - YouTube, QuickTime etc. Smaller projects don’t do this, but neither did this one last night when I put it to bed. Audio Performance meter is nominal. The buffer is at max. Same in Live and pre gen modes.
Any ideas what to try?

Any chance you have a plug-in running in demo mode?

Re: DP Project causing audio dropouts system-wide
Actually, a boot into Safe Mode seems to have fixed this. Amazing! ....assuming it sticks, I'll leave the post and the solution here for any future users that might experience this.
In fact I do! Waldorf Microwave has a 30 day trial I'm 10 days into. Would that cause random dropouts on everything?...they weren't at regular intervals. More glitchy than how a demo would drop out. ....Thank you, Mike

Re: DP Project causing audio dropouts system-wide
Well, this issue is again occurring. This time safe boot did not help. So I am again looking for suggestions.
One very weird aspect that I am now noticing is that which desktop is in view seems to affect the phenomena. I work with DP on two desktops. One with the mixer and SE, side-by-side on two displays, and another with the TO & ME on the displays. If I keep the desktop with the TO & ME in view I get almost no drop outs. Switching back to the mixer/SE desktop and the drop outs increase by a lot. ...anyone ever seen anything like this?! Thx.
