Hello together,
The command "Zoom To Selection" does not work for me in the track window. I would like to see the complete songs adjusted on the monitor in the Tracks window without rolling down or up (scrolling). I use the command > Select All > Zoom To Selection. This works in all other windows. If I zoom in the Tracks window manually, the song is too small or too big on the monitor. What am I doing wrong?
I'm DP10.11.
Greetings, Denis
The command "Zoom To Selection"

Re: The command "Zoom To Selection"
I'm guessing that in the tracks overview, there are only a preset amount of "resolutions" horizontally (bars per 'block'), and size options vertically.

Good evening Stubbsonic,
thanks for the quick response. Would be nice if this were possible.
Have a nice weekend, Denis

Re: The command "Zoom To Selection"
The issue is that the blocks are a fixed size, so if it zoomed horizontally to fit your selection, it might require each block to be some fractional number of measures 1.7 or 5.2 or 11.6 bars per block-- which would be a disaster for block-based operations.
I suspect that vertically it could do better, but it might only have preset zoom levels for those little audio/MIDI overview things in the display; so again, you'd end up with too big or too small.
(I have a habit of theorizing, in great detail, about things of which I know nothing.)
