I have three 2408 MK 3's and a 24IO that I'm running in my Mac Pro early 2008 8-core 2.3 MHz with 16 MB of installed RAM.
I'd like to upgrade to a new Mac Studio or Mac Pro but the $$$ just isn't there right now. Especially since my interfaces are all obsolete and will have to be replaced, as well as a housing for about 10 hard drives, cables adapters etc...
I might be crazy but thought that if I could find the last model Mac Pro that can still support a PCIe 424 card it might buy me some more time with my old interfaces.
Markus mentioned that the 2012 model still supports the PCIe 424 card.
Do any of you have one you might consider parting with? I'm looking for a 12 core 3.46 MHz with lots of RAM???

I'm in the US, so that wouldn't be practical. Can't win 'em all I guess. Appreciate the sentiment though! Thanks for the response. That's quite an avatar picture BTW!

Crap! I have what sounds like the exact machine that you are looking for, but, it just recently died on me and won't start up. I was only using it for recording LPs, so, I did not try to diagnose or fix it. Mine is MacPro5,1 and the description is Mid 2010, so, maybe not the same as 2012, but, the same processing speed and number of cores.
Mac Pro (Mid 2010) 2 x 3.46 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 128 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC AMD Radeon RX 580 8 GB H01271G5GWR Model Name: Mac Pro
'll give it to you for free if you want to try to fix it as long as you pay for the shipping.
