Right now, it's just vaporware.

And Apple really wants to improve the slow performance of the PowerBook and get away from incremental 1.33, 1.5, 1.67 Ghz offerings. And only Intel has a viable product and manufacturing capability that will improve Apple's laptop performance.

But who knows... maybe there'll be a PowerMac G6 !

I think this announcement, if true, could put some real pressure on Intel to get it right anyway.

I would love to see a G6 but I think Steve jobs would have to quit Apple before it happened. Wait, he's on the board at Disney now and Apple stock is tankin, DOH! :shock:
