Hello,
I've got a simple question. It's possible to use the MacFive Sampler with Sibelius to playback my scores.
Thank you.

Mach5 as Playback device for Sibelus?...Yes!
I'm pleased and surprised to report that the answer is yes! The problem is that , because M5 needs to be instantiated from wthin a host program ( like DP. At least until the long awaited version 2 finally comes outI've got a simple question. It's possible to use the MacFive Sampler with Sibelius to playback my scores.

If you need a more detailed explanation of how, let me know.

It's important to keep one thing in mind. Although you can send notes to Mach5, it's not aware of performance changes. Using one of the Sibelius-aware programs (like the Sib version of Garritan Personal Orchestra), most articulations, dynamics and performance indications change the sound. For example, if you've got a trumpet part and then indicate 'Mute' somewhere in the score, you'll get a mute sound.
It's nice that Mach5 actually shows up in Sibelius. But except for very simple things (perhaps solo piano music), I think you're likely to be unsatisfied with the result.
