It's right there under the Digital Performer menu for me in DP 11. ⌘, also.

You’ve updated to Ventura, I’m betting. I had the exact same Q. While chasing down a problem in PL.

It doesn’t matter the app — when you click on Settings, you’ll see Settings & Preferences when it opens

Thanks, Apple.

Ha. Once again, Apple is not talking to itself. In Logic preferences and setting are different things and all over the place.

I’ll check that out when in front of my iMac. Yea “upgraded” to Ventura. quite a few unexplained issues including crash when click-dragging in quickscribe window and flashing insert bar that will not change to pointer in sequence window

All in an effort to be more like Apple iOS. Like your iPhone and iPad. I use both extensively it have no desire for my Mac experience to emulate my iOS experience. I think Apple is just trying to create uniformity. Boo.

I'll take your word for it. I've not yet been successful opening Logic since I went to Ventura—low, low priority, perhaps later this week.

Going through my bread and butter apps, most have replaced Preferences with Settings. Word still uses Preferences. Perhaps MS thinks they are special.

first of all, thanks for the advice....it is definitely 'settings' under finder/Digital Performer. Suppose I should have looked at all the nifty things Ventura would do for me. Are we dumbing down here? Oh well...

Not anymore.
Logic Pro Settings and project settings
• Logic Pro Preferences are now named Logic Pro Settings to align with macOS Ventura.
Turns out I had accidentally installed Auto Tune Slice — only works with a Subscription that I don't have. Removing that did the trick. I finally got LPx to open and looked at the User Manual.

Logic was fine on my Ventura test volume. But too much didn't work, and there isn't much that actually needs Ventura. I've deleted that and gone back to a Monterey test volume. Not confident that all the important plugins are going to work, but I'd have to say Graphics updates on the Mini are much improved over Mojave.
