I have a very odd problem. I took an older file from last year and opened it. It only has 3 or 4 tracks on it. DP asked me if I wanted to update the legacy instruments on the track and I said yes. This was an idea/scratch track and I was only running 3 instruments: Spectrasonics Trillian; Spectrasonics Stylus; and either the Ivory piano or an Arturia piano. When I play F#2 on my Doepfer LMK4 MIDI Master Keyboard controller, nothing happens. No notes play. So I opened the MIDI monitor to see what was happening. It sees the MIDI keyboard perfectly, just no note is triggered. It DOES play back the F#2 perfectly. And in fact, when I opened an event list for the piano and tried to manually enter an F#2, it triggered the software instrument! But as soon as I stopped trying to add a note via the even list, nothing. And it is not just the piano, it is the bass as well. This is a completely separate instrument being played on a completely unique MIDI track with the exact same result.
To be safe, I opened up another file that DP had not upgraded and everything was working perfectly. I then copied three tracks, the piano, the drums and the bass and created a brand new file and pasted the MIDI in. Works perfectly. F#2 is now just a normal key. All I did I was take the files that DP upgraded and copied just the MIDI content into a brand new file. Once I did that, it worked just fine.
I opened another older (2018) DP project and the same thing just happened! And again, just the F#2!
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sounds like you might have your MIDI commands engaged. shift-L and uncheck/deselect the Master Master at the top of the commands list.

I thought those masters turned on/off the various COMMANDS, but it seems no matter which master I turn off, the spacebar still toggles play/stop.
